HOW WE WORK
At Oh Honey! HandyMa'am™, caring for your home means caring about what we bring into it. We use reusable protective materials — canvas drop cloths, fabric floor runners, moving blankets — because your finishes and flooring deserve the same attention as the work itself. We carry refillable cleaning solutions, rechargeable tools, and microfiber systems so we're not leaving a trail of single-use waste behind us.
When a job genuinely requires disposable materials for safety or containment, we use them sparingly and remove every bit when we're done. This isn't a separate policy — it's just what thoughtful, preventative care looks like in practice.

The project form is the best way to start.
It gives us everything we need to properly assess your project — scope, timeline, photos, and priorities. The more detail you can share upfront, the better we can serve you. Photos are especially valuable and make the entire process faster.

We connect with you & provide a written estimate
Once your form is submitted, we review everything and reach out to confirm details and talk through scope — a thoughtful conversation about what you need.
A detailed written estimate covers the full scope, labor, materials, and timeline.
You review, sign, and submit your 50% deposit to secure your service date.

Oh Honey! HomeCheck™ & final confirmation
We arrive on time and begin with a brief check-in to confirm the scope of work.
Each visit includes our Oh Honey! HomeCheck™ — a proactive 39-point home inspection designed to identify small maintenance concerns before they become larger issues.
On your first visit, we also complete a Oh Honey! HomeMapping™ of essential appliances and household systems. This allows us to proactively track and maintain key areas of your home and help you stay ahead of future maintenance needs.
If anything unexpected is identified during the inspection, we pause and walk you through what we’re seeing before making any changes or recommendations. If additional work is needed beyond the original scope, we will clearly outline your options and schedule a separate visit to complete the work properly.
Before any work begins, we review our findings with you, confirm the plan moving forward, and answer any questions you may have. You are always informed, included, and in control before any decisions are made or work begins.

Clean worksite, documentation, and follow-up
We clean the work area thoroughly and leave your home as we found it — or better.
We provide a respectful, detail-focused service that prioritizes your home from start to finish.
Before we leave, we complete a walkthrough of the finished work with you and answer any final questions. At that time, the remaining balance is collected.
You will receive a copy of your Oh Honey! HomeCheck™ findings, along with before and after photos of your project area for your records.
After your service, we check-in within 24 hours to ensure everything is working as expected and your expectations were met. We also reconnect two weeks later to confirm everything is still in excellent condition and to address anything that may have come up.
